SEEKING MALE & FEMALE VOCALISTS & DANCERS

Disney Parks Talent Casting, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Dancers for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.

Performers bring exciting, up close entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a visually stunning live show celebrating the mystic rhythms of the jungle, to a rousing, fun-filled musical featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming and many others.

Six month or longer contracts begin July through September 2012. Performers receive $740 - $760 (US dollars) per week (depending on role and show), per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.

Seeking the following roles:

Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 5’9”+, Females 5’3”-5’6”, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)

Male Ballet Dancers: 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)

Athletic Male Dancers with Ethnic Look: Males 5’6”+ , exotic looking, athletic with strong physiques for a lavish multi-sensory production exploring the “Mystic Rhythms” of a tropical rainforest, must have strong abdominal/back muscles. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)

Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 5’8”+, strong solo tappers trained in jazz with exceptional charisma and commanding stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African-heritage dancers. ($760 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)

Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to relocate to Tokyo for the terms of their individual contracts.

Wear appropriate form fitting attire, showing your silhouette. Wear proper dance shoes, no bare feet; street shoes are not allowed in the studio. Be warmed-up and ready to begin at the listed time. Please note, height requirements are strictly adhered to.

Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking Character Look-alike Performers for Star Wars™ Weekends, performed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.

The Star Wars Weekend event is held the last two weekends in May and the first two weekends in June. Rehearsals occur during the month of April. Those considered for the event must be available for all rehearsal and performances.

Casting performers for the following roles:

Females (5’3” – 6’0”) Princess Leia, Queen Amidala, Zam Wessell, Shaak-Ti, Aurra Sing, Ahsoka Tano, Asajj Ventress

Males (5’8” – 6’3”) Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, Mace Windu

Males (6’3” – 6’10”) Darth Vader and Chewbacca

Male or Female (3’10” – 5’0”) Ewoks

STILETTO Entertainment is auditioning performers for our fabulous production shows that take place onboard Holland America Line’s 15 luxury vessels with worldwide itineraries. Each of our main stage productions features a male and female singer couple leading the energetic cast of up to six female dancers and up to four male dancers in addition to a male and female singer/dancer couple, through several evenings of thrilling passenger entertainment offered during exotic cruises from 7 days to 180 day grand voyages. Casting Directors James Nadeau & Jodie Stinebaugh offer eight-month contracts at sea.

Male Singers Who Move Well: 5’10”-6’3”, suit sizes from 40R – 46Tmust have a solid ‘G’ and developed falsetto. Versatile singers with strong Broadway-Pop belt, ability to sing contemporary legit and harmonize, must have excellent acting skills and move well.

Female Singers Who Move Well: 5’4-5’9”, dress size 2-8, versatile singers with strong Broadway-Pop belt, ability to sing contemporary legit and harmonize, must have excellent acting skills and move well.

Male Singers Who Dance: 5’7”-6’3”, suit size from 38R-44T must have a solid ‘G’ and developed falsetto. Versatile singers with strong Broadway-Pop belt, ability to sing contemporary legit and harmonize, excellent acting skills required, advanced dance experience in jazz, ballet, and tap required.

Female Singers Who Dance: 5’4-5’9”, dress size 2-8, versatile singers with strong Broadway-Pop belt, ability to sing contemporary legit and harmonize, excellent acting skills required, advanced dance experience in jazz, ballet, and tap required.

Male Dancers: 5’6”-6’3”, suit size 36-42 with athletic and toned bodies, must have strong technique in jazz, ballet, tap, and partnering, gymnastics and acting a plus.

Female Dancers: 5’2”-5’10”, dress size 0-6, with athletic and toned bodies, must have strong technique in jazz, ballet, tap, and partnering, gymnastics and acting a plus.

DANCERS AND SINGERS APPLYING FOR JOBS NEED AN EXCELLENT SHOWREEL

F2Z are looking for dancers for various costa and MSC cruise contracts.

F2Z is a dance agency that represents and provides high quality, professional, all round dancers, for work on cruise ships, in casino shows, dinner shows and many other venues, large and small worldwide.

They believe that they can find talented and hard working dancers to suit your show, and also find the perfect job for the professional dancer.

As director of F2Z, Fiona Reid has asked Artistas Directo to emphasize to all readers the importance of a GOOD showreel when applying for jobs through an agency. An agency needs to present a showreel to casting directors that shows a dancers TECHINCAL ABILITIES and their versatility in styles. Although some dancers have well edited and fun showreels, it is far more important for a casting director to see a dancers technique clearly even if the video is homemade, or even on a phone. Presentation is nice, but remember a dancer isn´t being judged on their editing and filming. You may have an brilliant photos and a good CV but an up to date and clear showreel is vital.
